Importance of Visiting Schools
You never know if a school will be a good fit for you unless you visit. What looks like it may be a perfect fit on paper, may not actually be best for you in practice. I strongly encourage my students to visit campuses that they are interested in to see if the school feels right to them. If you know what you want to major in, ask to meet with a student advisor or ask to sit in on a class. Eat the food in the cafeteria. Try not to base your decision on the tour guide. While a lot of college information can be found online, touring a school is an important step to see if a college should remain on your list.
